TOKYO TOWER

The tower has a large observation platform (150 m) and a special observation platform (250 m), from where you can get a full view of Tokyo. If you visit on a nice sunny day, the 360 degree panoramic view will take away your breath. Tsukiji is where many professional shoppers visit to purchase marine products from all over Japan, including tuna and bonito. The lively fish auction in the early morning is a must-see. In addition, there are 39 restaurants in Tsukiji that serve sushi (fish slices on rice), tempura (deep-fried fish and vegetables), kaisen-don (bowl of rice topped with slices of different kinds of fish), motsuni (stewed gut), tonkatsu (breaded pork cutlet), soba (buckwheat noodles), pasta, and many more. Asakusa Kaminari-mon
The standard Asakusa tourist spot is the Sensouji temple. This is the oldest Buddhist temple in the Tokyo Metropolitan area, and is the only fudasho (pilgrimage site) for the Bando Sanjyusankasho Kannon temples (a series of 33 Buddhist temples in the east part of Japan that is scared to the Goddess Kannon. Bando refers to the eastern part of Japan.) in the area. After you pay a visit to the temple, you can enjoy kabuki (a traditional Japanese dance drama. Performers wear elaborate makeup for the play.) in the Asakusa public town hall. Or you can ride a jinrikisha (a rickshaw) to go sightseeing around the city, which is reminiscent of the Edo period. You also cannot forget to take a walk in Nakamise (shops lined up in a passageway near Sensouji temple), where many long-established quality stores line up.
